Purging that barely used stuff this spring? Already dreading trying to organize it all or the hassle of trying to sell it? Don’t throw it away! Put it to good RE-use by donating it to Mt Clemens Community Schools’ FREE-CYCLE event!

This event is like a garage sale, with a twist. Instead of selling items, all donations will be given away for free to families with children in the Mount Clemens Community School System!

MCCS is now running a collection for various new or gently used items such as: clothing, shoes, household items, kitchenware, games, toys, small appliances, electronics, sporting goods, books, CD’s, videos, and small furniture. They are unable to accept donations for cribs, car seats, walkers and other products that do not meet current safety standards of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Donations will be accepted at Mount Clemens Middle School/High School Building on weekdays from 7:30-2:30. To schedule a drop-off before or after school hours or for more information, please contact Jen Kroll at (586) 354-1946 or
